How SeaFly organises your transport
International goods movements combine two things: the transport itself and the formalities at the border. Both have to fit together – otherwise goods wait at customs. That is why SeaFly coordinates transport partners and customs specialists in one request.
SeaFly does not give binding customs advice and does not determine duty rates or tariff numbers itself – these are answered by specialised customs partners. The AI collects what they need so your request can be processed quickly.
- 1Describe your transport – in the chat, in your language.
- 2We plan your solution – route, services and suitable partners.
- 3Compare offers – services, transit time and price before you book.
- 4Follow everything live – status, documents and messages in your dashboard.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need an EORI number?
Companies that import into or export from the EU usually need an EORI number. For private shipments other rules may apply – a customs partner will clarify this for your case.
Who pays duties and import VAT?
That depends on the agreed Incoterms. The amounts are determined by the customs authorities – SeaFly does not estimate them in advance.
Can SeaFly also handle only the customs part?
Yes. Customs services can be requested on their own, for example only an export declaration.
